Product Overview
This PORC rear Chrysler 8.25 pinion yoke kit provides the major components used when replacing or servicing the rear pinion yoke on 1997-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ models equipped with a Chrysler 8.25 rear axle.
Built around the 52068839 rear pinion yoke, this kit is specifically configured around the later 3.00" tall, 27-spline yoke. The yoke uses a 1310 Series strap-and-bolt U-joint retention design and accepts a compatible 1310 Series U-joint measuring approximately 3.219" wide with 1.062" bearing caps.
The kit also includes the matching rear pinion seal, pinion crush sleeve, and U-joint strap hardware. A pinion nut is intentionally not included with this package.

3.00" Yoke Configuration
This kit is built around the 3.00" tall 52068839 pinion yoke. The Chrysler 8.25 was also used with other yoke heights, so verifying the existing yoke configuration before ordering is important.
U-Joint Not Included
This listing does not include the U-joint. The included yoke is designed for a compatible 1310 Series U-joint measuring approximately 3.219" wide with 1.062" bearing caps.
