Product Overview
This PORC heavy-duty front Dana 44 pinion yoke kit provides a complete 1310 Series U-bolt-style yoke setup for 1971-1980 Jeep SJ and J-Series applications equipped with a compatible Dana 44 front axle.
Built around the J0935685 26-spline pinion yoke, this version also includes a genuine Dana-Spicer 5-153X 1310 Series U-joint. The U-bolt-style retention system secures the joint directly to the yoke and provides a straightforward heavy-duty alternative to conventional strap-and-bolt retention.
The included Spicer U-joint measures approximately 3.219" wide with 1.062" bearing caps and is matched to the supplied yoke. The kit also includes the matching front pinion seal, pinion nut, and U-bolt retaining hardware.
This package works well for restoration, drivetrain service, axle rebuilds, and modified off-road builds using the compatible Dana 44 front axle configuration. Common Crown/OE, Omix, Dana-Spicer, and Yukon reference numbers are listed below for easier component verification.
